The Hub City Room. This "railroad room" tells the hisory of how Spartanburg became the "Hub City" of the Upstate. Centered around travel, the antique French bedroom suite with marble top dresser emphasizes the importance of the connection the Upstate had with a larger world through the invention of railroads. One of the most privateareas in the house, the Hub City room also has a second generation original bathroom with pre-World War II sink and 5 1/2 foot tub. This room adjoins the small library where guests can relax and curl up with a favorite novel.
